Due to the nature of our business and the importance of team work, you must be able to travel to the office as this is not a fully remote role.
Key Duties
Running daily& weekly EPOS / sales / shortages / service level reports
Monitoring sales data against forecast / stock holding, and identifying trends or risks and alert to the business to best plan production schedules
Monthly / Quarterly OR / marketing / promo trackers
Liaising with both internal and external teams, and customers, regarding ordering, invoicing, deliveries, and general customer service
Working with finance team for invoicing, customer portals and EDI queries and price reviews
Maintaining customer and product records
Grocery store visits to keep up to date with customer & competitor ranges
Awareness of industry trends and identifying gaps in market / opportunities
Staying up to date with product portfolio and capabilities
Completion of PCD / NLFSs and other customer specific documentation using the online platforms
Cover support of sampling sessions with completion of feedback forms and analysing against customer requirements
Providing general commercial support to Account Manager such as chasing costings, maintaining price files and P&Ls, compilation of draft quotes, chasing commercial feedback, monitoring promotional activity and OR accruals
Raising and booking in of purchase orders
Proof reading / checking of customer artworks
Potential attendance of customer and supplier meetings, and representing Lakeside at industry events as necessary
Occasional travel to external presentations to assist with customer presentations (on site visits supporting account manager)
Setting up and preparation of presentation packs for customers and supplier meetings
Assistance with project co-ordination tasks during peak times when necessary to ensure timely product launches
Delivering exceptional and proactive customer service at all times
Working as part of a team in sharing knowledge, ideas and product samples to help ensure the success of the team overall
Covering other sales team members in their absence
General admin and ad hoc duties as deemed relevant to the role/ department
Experience:
We are looking for someone who has experience in an administration role, ideally in the food industry.
Microsoft suite including Excel, word and Powerpoint (essential)
Working with data input or in an existing admin role would be beneficial
An applicant who has some experience working in a sales / retail office is preferable but candidates who are highly organised, have general experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple customers and deadlines can also be considered.
