Job Description
Whetstone Brothers Contract Furnishers Limited is a leading manufacturer and supplier of contract furniture and soft furnishings, clients include major pub chains, hotels, restaurants, leisure industry and large domestic contracts.
We supply and manufacture a wide range of furniture, including but not limited to fixed seating, chairs, stools, modular furniture, headboards and bespoke items.
Job Specification
Running a busy upholstery shop. Organising workload from production schedules. Ensure work is being completed correctly and in the right order. Pattern making and cutting out - using both fabric and leather. Upholstery using both fabric and leather.
Person Specification
Strong personality. Confident in giving instruction. The ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a busy environment. Working on your own and within a team. Reliable and be able to use your own initiative, with a hands on approach.
Experience and understanding of contract furniture manufacturing would be highly beneficial. Very occasionally site work may be required, however the position is predominantly factory based.
The position is a factory based in Atherstone, Warwickshire. We have free parking on site.
Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 3pm (half an hour unpaid lunch per day),
Salary dependant on experience
