Commerical Controller Role
Commercial Controller (FMCG Sales Leadership)
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially astute Commercial Controller to lead our sales performance, ensuring alignment with our strategic and financial growth targets. This is a role, with end-to-end responsibility for revenue delivery, customer growth, and commercial planning in a fast-moving and constantly growing consumer goods environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Strategy
Own and drive the commercial agenda, with full accountability for sales growth, margin, and forecasting
Proactively chase new business, unlocking opportunities, and securing high-value accounts
Create and lead execution of sales strategies, pricing models, and customer plans to hit revenue and profit targets
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, leading negotiations and commercial terms with key customers
Provide robust sales reporting and forecasting, ensuring visibility and accuracy in all financial planning
Confidently analyse commercial performance, providing insights and making data-led decisions
Leadership & Collaboration
Line Manage: Sales team
Lead by example: competitive, energetic, and focused on delivery
Embed strong cross-functional collaboration, especially with NPD, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance
Present regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Develop team capabilities and drive a high-performance culture across sales and marketing functions
Required Profile
Proven experience in a commercial leadership role within FMCG (this is essential)
Ability to bridge strategic planning with hands-on execution across sales
Strong financial acumen, comfortable with budgeting, P&L, forecasting, and commercial models
Highly analytical, target-driven, and resilient under pressure
Experience in a multinational environment is preferred
Proficient in Excel, Office 365, and experience in tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Google Analytics is preferred
Package
90,000.00 to 95,000 per annum
Bonus: up to 10% on Base Salary annually.
Pension: Legal & General (4% + 4%) following successful probation.

Holidays: 26 days, plus bank holidays.
2-days working from home each week.
2-weeks 'work from anywhere' entitlement each year.
Probation & Notice period: 3 months.
