to join our facilities team based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital
on a
permanent
basis. This is a full-time
role working 40
hours per week from 08:30 to 16:30 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. On offer is a competitive salary

The role will assist with the provision of Materials Management Service at Worcestershire Royal Hospital and associated areas in accordance with the contracted Service Level Agreement.
What will you deliver?
Carry out a regular count of materially managed items, to an agreed schedule using a computerised stock control system (PDA)
Produce electronic 'top up' orders according to procedures
Transport goods in a safe manner to designated wards/departments
Check and put away stock on nominated wards/departments, noting and reporting discrepancies etc
Ensure stock rotation for 'top up' lists as agreed with Line Manager
Carry out administrative procedures associated with the provision of the Materials Management Service to ensure accurate records are maintained for reporting purposes
Maintain a safe and tidy working area
Carry out training courses as required by the Company
Assist with the provision of the GP Vacutainer Service, ensuring that orders are picked and packed ready for distribution to clinics/surgeries

Who are we looking for?
Relevant stock control/stores experience
NHS/Hospital experience
Numerate and literate with an ability to write simple reports
IT/Computer literate
Experience in relevant stores/receipt and distribution environment
Good interpersonal skills.
This role includes a Standard DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
