Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards Support the team in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes efficiently Ensure all food items are prepared according to specified recipes and presentation standards Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to minimise waste Support supervising staff in managing daily kitchen operations when required Contribute to maintaining a positive, collaborative team environment focused on delivering excellent service

Requirements

Previous experience in food production, kitchen work, or hospitality is preferred Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards Experience in supervising or team management is advantageous Strong cooking skills with a good understanding of culinary techniques Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills Prior restaurant or hospitality experience will be considered an asset
