Responsibilities

Assist in preparing ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and standards Support senior chefs in food presentation and plating Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage spaces Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met Contribute to the efficient running of the kitchen during service periods Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery

Skills

Experience in food production, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene Proven team management or supervising experience is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving Excellent communication skills to work cohesively within a team environment Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or restaurant operations is desirable Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
