Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and Chef de Partie in various tasks in the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Learn and practice basic cooking techniques, such as chopping, peeling, seasoning, and frying.
- Follow recipes and cooking instructions provided by the kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including regular equipment cleaning, proper disposal of waste, and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Assist in stock management, including monitoring inventory levels, rotating ingredients, and informing the team of any shortages or needs.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during busy periods.
- Learn and practice proper knife skills and techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines in the kitchen.
Requirements:
