Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes, ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workstations.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Support senior chefs in various cooking tasks and learn from their expertise.
Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
Participate in menu planning and development as required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Skills
Reliable and willing to learn.
Basic culinary skills with a passion for food preparation.
Ability to work effectively within a team and take direction from senior chefs.
Leadership qualities with an eagerness to learn about supervising kitchen staff.
