Preston college Department of Estates and Facilities are currently looking for a Commis Chef with passion, determination and a 'can do' attitude to work within our kitchen team.


We are seeking a passionate and motivated

Commis Chef

to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and support senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a professional kitchen environment.We are looking for someone with strong team-working skills and a high level of flexibility across the catering department.

Job Title: Commis Chef

Salary: SCP10 24,757 to SCP 14 25,785 - Job family Group 6

(depending on qualifications and experience).


There will be an opportunity for progression within this pay range.

Hours:

33.00 hours / week over 36 weeks (Term Time Only)


Monday: 7:30 - 14:30


Tuesday: 8:00 - 14:30


Wednesday: 8:00 - 14:30


Thursday: 8:00 - 14:30


Friday: 8:00 - 14:30
