Commis Chef

to join our kitchen team and work under the guidance of our Head Chef.

The Role:

As Commis Chef, you'll be involved in all aspects of food preparation and service, supporting the Head Chef to deliver high-quality meals for a busy production environment. You'll be confident with basic prep, kitchen hygiene, and willing to pitch in where needed - including some dishwashing and general kitchen maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily food preparation to a high standard Support with cooking and plating during service as needed Maintain a clean and organised workstation Ensure kitchen hygiene standards are upheld, including washing up and cleaning duties Help with receiving deliveries and stock rotation Follow food safety and health & safety protocols

Requirements:

Previous experience in a professional kitchen (minimum 1 year preferred) Strong basic food prep and knife skills Passion for fresh, seasonal food and a desire to learn Positive, can-do attitude and team player mentality Good time management and reliability
