Commis Chef

to join the team in Mayfair, Central London on a Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2025. Immediate start!

What you'll be doing:

Supporting the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality banqueting menus Assisting with mise en place, plating, and service during busy event operations Maintaining excellent food quality, presentation, and consistency Ensuring all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards. Working collaboratively with chefs at all levels to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations Demonstrating enthusiasm, reliability, and a commitment to learning and development

What we're looking for:

Some previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a banqueting, hotel, or high-volume catering environment A genuine passion for food, presentation, and guest satisfaction A positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior chefs. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events-based shifts. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, with a Level 2 Food Safety certificate (or willingness to obtain)
