We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about food and eager to learn. You'll support senior chefs in preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and delivering high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation across various kitchen sections.
Maintain mise en place and ensure readiness for service.
Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols.
Clean and organise kitchen stations and equipment.
Support stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients.
Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment
Skills & Experience
A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen operations.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Tips are roughly an extra 4000 a year
