Duties
Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and standards.
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Participate in food production tasks, including chopping, marinating, and plating dishes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as required.
Follow instructions from senior chefs regarding cooking techniques and presentation standards.
Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on food production and preparation.
Supervising experience or team management skills are advantageous for this role.
A background in hospitality or restaurant settings will be beneficial.
Culinary experience, including knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices, is essential.
