We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis/Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and managing staff. Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards before serving. Help manage kitchen schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for peak service times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food production, and food safety practices. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
