The Griffin's Head, Mears Ashby are seeking skilled, passionate and experienced Commis - Sous Chef to join our culinary team and embark upon our next phase.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of culinary arts to our customers from the finest ingredients and managing all aspects of our Kitchen operations.

Previous experience of working in a kitchen, maintaining service and developing new and exciting menus for all our guests.

```Responsibilities```
- Prepare and cook delicious visually appealing culinary plates according to recipes and customer preferences
- Working with other kitchen staff to ensure that we adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory and advise upon supplies as required
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create menus that meet customer demands and seasonal availability of the finest ingredients
- Monitor food production to ensure consistent quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavour profiles, and culinary trends
- Excellent team working skills and the ability to display flair and creativity
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
