Role Overview

As a

Commis Chef

, you'll be an essential part of our kitchen brigade, assisting with food preparation and ensuring the smooth running of service. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a professional chef career in a supportive and energetic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and production of fresh dishes to a high standard. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section at all times. Follow kitchen procedures, hygiene, and food safety regulations (including HACCP). Work closely with senior chefs to develop skills and learn new techniques. Support in the receiving and storage of deliveries, ensuring stock rotation and minimising waste. Be proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic in all aspects of kitchen life.

What We're Looking For

A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow. Some basic kitchen experience preferred. A positive attitude and team spirit. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Punctual, well-presented, and committed to high standards.
