Job Description

We are looking for an eager and motivated Commis Chef, who the team will rely on to ensure they have the correct preparation needed to deliver our high level of service at our

Three Rosette Restaurant,

Blas.

We are a supportive, experienced team, who are enthusiastic about the ingredients we use and dishes we create. Your role in the team would include:

You will be plating and presenting meal items as per the head Chef and Sous Chef's instructions. You will prepare various meats, fish and sauces which includes washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits, as directed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef. You will perform basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized and comply with food health and safety regulations. You will receive deliveries, verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality. You will take inventory of kitchen supplies, notifying the Head Chef and Sous Chef of low or depleted supplies.

You are eager to learn from seniors and peers and you always push yourself to progress as a Chef. You pride yourself on preparing fresh seasonal ingredients as instructed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef. You are enthusiastic in cooking, learning and understanding all the dishes from the menu and you are constantly striving to develop your cooking skills. You thrive under the guidance, and you enjoy the comradery of the kitchen. You are committed to your love for cooking by utilising your communication and listening skills, attention to detail, ability to take instruction and absolute passion for food to ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved.

Pay: 13.50 per hour
