Who are Chilled Pubs?

It all started back in 2007 when Loren agreed to Richards crazy dream, and they together purchased the Bulls Head in Repton. Fast forward 17 years and they have a thriving pub business. With 7 gorgeous sites, over 500 employees, an industry leading food & drink menu and just to be a bit different, 7 mascot alpacas.


Driven by their vision to become the top leading pub brands in The Midlands, they're passionate about finding superstars to live and breathe their values and ensure all guests are truly wowed by their Chilled Pub experience. With no signs of slowing down, Richard and Loren are always on the lookout for their next project and would like to reach a portfolio of 20 pubs in the near future...!

What the role entails?

As a Commis Chef you will play an integral role in supporting the kitchen and ensuring operations run smoothly. You will work closely with the senior chefs to understand the different roles & stations within the kitchen. You will learn all areas of the kitchen, from the setup of each section to all food preparation and the final clean down. You will need to be comfortable and happy working both independently but also as part of the wider kitchen team. You will need to take ownership of your area, tracking orders and ticket times, but also work closely with the main kitchen team to ensure efficiency and smooth running to provide our guests with the best possible experience. You may be asked to support on any section in the kitchen dependent on business needs, its essential you have a good understanding of our full menu and are confident to jump in and help in any area should it be required.

Somebody with a flexible approach to work, this isn't a typical 9-5 role, and both evening and weekend work will be required.
