Overview:
We are seeking a skilled person to join our Kitchen Team. This position is a Permanent position and NOT seasonal.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Assist with food production and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Adhere to all sanitation regulations
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
Skills:
- Team management: Ability to work well within a team environment and effectively communicate with colleagues.
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food preparation, plating, and service.
- Food preparation: Proficiency in preparing various dishes using different cooking techniques.
- Kitchen: Knowledge of kitchen equipment, utensils, and safety procedures.
- Food production: Ability to efficiently produce high-quality food items.
