We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, working collaboratively with other team members to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to
Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow in the kitchen
Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Contribute to menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role within a restaurant setting
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Excellent understanding of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in hospitality is an advantage, along with a passion for delivering outstanding service
Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as required
