We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef / Kitchen assistant to join our dynamic kitchen team. As an Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities

Assist the Kitchen Team in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards. Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Support kitchen staff during food preparation and cooking processes. Help manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with team members to create new menu items and improve existing recipes. Ensure that kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use. Assist in planning and executing special events or catering services as required.

Qualifications

Experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is desired. knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for culinary arts with a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and management. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
