Job Title: Commissioning Hub Support Officer (SEND)

The Role:
The Commissioning Hub brings together all Children's related commissioning activities within Worcestershire County Council. We are looking for pro-active and driven individuals to support commissioning work within the SEND area of the service.
Your principal duties will be to support school consultations and commission alternative provision. You will collaborate with providers, education and SEND staff to help ensure suitable provision is found. You will be expected to undertake cost negotiations with providers to ensure optimum value for money and as a result, reducing the overall expenditure of the higher needs block for the service.
Additionally, the job will include quality assuring forms, setting up finance packages, setting up contracts and assisting with other key commissioning related duties as required.
