Working Pattern
Full Time, 36.25 hours per week,2 days minimum working from Trafford Town Hall Wednesday and Thursday.

About the Role
We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team to enable us to continue to build on our success and also bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team.
The Commissioning Business Support Officer role is a varied and key role in the All Age Commissioning Team of the Integrated Commissioning Directorate within the local authority. Supporting the roles of the Commissioning Support Officers, Commissioning Officers and Specialist Commissioner.
A Commissioning Business Support Officer will provide support to the Adults Commissioning teams across the full commissioning cycle in relation to Adult Social Care Services. The role is an integral part of the team undertaking all administration/clerical duties as and when required. This will include but is not exhaustive:
Providing organisational and business support to relevant boards, forums, groups, and meetings; such as preparing information and documents/ papers beforehand and during the meeting, taking and writing minutes, and recording action points. Working to deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of papers and minutes to the relevant people.
Completing data and preparing statistical records and spread sheets, to be used in reporting and monitoring business / project progress / for stakeholders as and when required, undertaking surveys or audits as required.
Processing and maintaining data in a variety of IT systems, (including manual and electronic), completing and inputting in order to provide accurate management information.
Receiving and logging provider concerns and uplift requests by recording the details in a timely and appropriate manner. Maintain and monitor a variety of shared inboxes across the integrated commissioning service.
Undertaking a range of financial duties including managing orders using the on-line purchasing system, the financial monitoring and payment of invoices; Issuing, monitoring and confirming orders in line with procurement guidelines, as required.
Supporting managers and officers in responding to requests for reports and information up to Director level.

You will be responsible for taking notes at a variety of meetings from low level to high level therefore excellent minute taking skills are essential. An understanding of commissioning and experience of working in an adult social care setting is desirable but not essential, using systems such as Liquid Logic and ContrOCC would also be helpful for this role.
You will be required to have experience of administration/clerical duties and have a basic understanding of finance in a large organisation.

Additional Information
Flexibility will be essential as you may be required to work outside core hours as the office is open from 7.00 am until 5.30 pm).
An enhanced DBS check with adults barred list check will be required.
You will have flexibility in terms of hybrid working at home and in the office.
