We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commissioning Manager (Mechanical ) to oversee the mechanical commissioning process of our project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all systems and components of the project are designed, installed, tested, and operationally ready to meet the required specifications. This role is critical in delivering high-quality outcomes while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Duties
Lead and manage the commissioning process from project initiation through to completion.
Develop comprehensive commissioning plans, including schedules, resources, and methodologies.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the commissioning phase.
Conduct thorough inspections and testing of systems to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the commissioning process.
Prepare detailed reports on commissioning activities, findings, and recommendations for improvements.
Provide training and support to operational staff on system functionalities post-commissioning.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies throughout all commissioning activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role within the engineering or construction industry.
Strong understanding of commissioning processes and methodologies.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field are advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
50 hrs Monday - Friday with a flexible start and finish time Monday & Friday for travel. Length of contract - initial 6-month contract with extensions very likely. SC/DV clearance preferred but not essential but must be able to attain. The Client has asked for the position to be filled ASAP.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: 70.00-75.00 per hour
