Then you could be part of our highly regarded Children\'s Commissioning Team.

Our work is expanding, and we are recruiting a new Commissioning Manager to support exciting and innovative improvements to Children\'s Services in Lincolnshire.

Commissioning is an important part of how we arrange support for our most vulnerable children and young people; we analyse their needs and put plans in place to meet those needs. We monitor service performance. Through the commissioning cycle we support the continual development of new services and ongoing improvement.

We are looking for a Commissioning Manager to lead a new commissioning category that will support exciting and innovative improvements to Children\'s Services in Lincolnshire. We have been chosen by the Department for Education as one of the three national Families First for Children Pathfinders. This brings an exciting opportunity for Lincolnshire who are recognised within the sector as a transformational authority. The pathfinder has been created to bring about innovative reforms to Family Help, Child Protection, Statutory Safeguarding Partnerships and in unlocking the potential of Family Networks for children and families across Lincolnshire.

The Commissioning Team will support this pathfinder and other improvements which in time could include prevention and early help services, support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, mental health services, and services for children in care and leaving care.

Please note this role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area and therefore a valid driving licence and use of a car is required.

You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary. Working arrangements regarding hybrid working will be discussed as part of the appointment process.
