The Role:
Strategic oversight and management of all commissioning activities across multiple projects.
Oversees multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring processes, quality, and timelines are met across the business.
Responsible for coordinating commissioning activities on-site and directly supervising engineers/technicians.
Regularly involved in hands-on commissioning, while still coordinating and leading the site team.
Creating and overseeing commissioning schedules across multiple jobs, ensuring resources and milestones are aligned.
Provides high-level commissioning reports and metrics for the business and clients.
Deal with on-the-ground technical and operational issues during commissioning.
Resolving escalated issues that impact delivery across multiple projects.
The Person:
Proven experience in commissioning management within mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally with generator systems.
Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
NVQ or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Electrically qualified & registered, with City & Guilds 18th Edition (or equivalent).
Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings and schedules.
Able to work under pressure and find practical solutions to challenges.
Willing to travel nationwide and work away from home when required.
Full UK driving licence.
