The Communication & Language Support Officer is a new position that will play a vital role in supporting the SENCO in the Assessing, Planning, Delivery and Reviewing of programmes of work, to groups or individual pupils, addressing and meeting our pupils individual needs with a focus on speech and language. This role will support staff to deliver bespoke programmes of intervention to address early language development ensuring all of our students can effectively access the curriculum both in and outside the classroom. This vacancy would suit an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with students with special needs, supporting them to develop from both an academic and social perspective. The successful candidate should be computer literate and have worked with MS Word, Outlook and Excel. English and Maths GCSE grade A-C are essential together with previous experience of having worked with students with autism.
