Job Summary


The Communication and Media Studies Apprentice will play a vital role in supporting the development and execution of communication strategies within our organisation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of media and communication while working alongside experienced professionals. The apprentice will assist in various projects, enhancing their understanding of media practices and communication theories.

Responsibilities



Assist in the creation and distribution of content across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters. Support the planning and execution of communication campaigns to promote organisational initiatives. Conduct research on industry trends, audience engagement, and competitor analysis to inform communication strategies. Collaborate with team members to develop creative ideas for content and media projects. Help organise events, workshops, or seminars that enhance community engagement and awareness. Maintain accurate records of communications activities and assist in reporting on campaign effectiveness.

Skills



Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Proficiency in using social media platforms for professional purposes. Basic understanding of graphic design tools or video editing software is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, enabling effective project management. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A keen interest in current trends in media, communication, and public relations is desirable.
