Communication Specialist
We are hiring for a Communications Specialist to work within the Women's Ministries section of the organisation.

Position: VAC0136 Communication Specialist (Women's Ministries)
Location: London/Hybrid
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: 37,509.67 p/a plus travel to work allowance up to 3800 pa
Contract: Maternity cover
Benefits: Contributory pension scheme; generous travel to work allowance; 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays per annum, cafe discount.

About the Role
This role involves supporting the section in communicating the message of their global ministry and will work in collaboration with the Communications section at IHQ. The role will include producing digital content and managing the Women's Ministries social media platforms, managing projects such as exhibitions and dealing with public relations.
About You
The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent written English to a high standard of syntax and accuracy in spelling, punctuation and grammar
• Significant experience with digital communication
• Fully conversant with Microsoft 365 packages including Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
• Effective time-management skills and self-motivation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of stakeholder including working across cultures
• Knowledge of the Salvation Army principles and terminology
