The Role: Communications and Marketing Manager The Store, a new boutique hotel in the heart of the city of Oxford with 101 rooms, a destination restaurant, rooftop bar, restorative spa and plenty of spaces to discover and explore are looking for a Comms and Marketing manager. Here\xe2\x80\x99s what the role is all about You will manage the marketing and communications functions both internally and externally to ensure consistent messaging of the company mission, values and brand pillars across all channels. You will ensure that the integrity of the brand is maintained and always promoted in a positive light. You will play an integral role in representing the company is the best possible way. The comms and marketing manager will lead the brand communications, social media channels and public relations across the hotel. It\'s a great opportunity to get hands on in managing and leading on all elements of marketing. The role is office based in the heart of the city of Oxford, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend work for events; flexibility will be required. Skills, Experience and Essential Criteria

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels within the business.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Previous experience managing external agencies and accounts.
  • Experience of design and social media management.
  • Experience of working in a leadership and senior management role.
  • Partnerships development.
  • Experience working in the hospitality sector will be desirable.
  • On site role, based in Oxford with travel to other hotels as and when required.
Key Responsibilities
  • To respond to communication and marketing requests in order of priority.
  • Host events on behalf of the hotel and manage show arounds for external clients.
  • Support the wider commercial element of the business.
  • Have a proactive approach to public relations.
  • Build strong external contacts with partners and continue to nurture.
What You Bring You will have a proven record of working within a hotel marketing department and have skills in overall communications strategies. Be confident in understanding the needs of internal departments and proactive in supporting operations, F&B, sales, and external marketing. You will be confident and assertive as well as detail oriented. You will enjoy multi-tasking but also have the confidence to prioritise your tasks accordingly. Department Comms and Marketing Benefits
