The Role Reporting directly to the EMEA Communications Director, this role sits on the Western Europe (WE) Leadership team and works in close partnership with the WE MD. The WE Communications Business Partner provides strategic communications counsel to deliver business goals and enhance employee engagement and Kimberly-Clark\xe2\x80\x99s reputation in WE. The role embraces both internal (70%) and external communications (30%) and involves working with multiple stakeholders and on major programs to drive business results. This role will be central to shaping the overall internal and external communications strategy for Kimberly-Clark in WE, helping to bring our purpose, vision, values and commitments to all our stakeholders to life through storytelling, case studies and reputation management, driving leadership engagement and cultural change. Some travel to Europe required a few times a year. Customers and Expectations Key customers for this position are Senior WE and EMEA Business Partners and C-Suite Leaders. These customers expect aligned, sound communications, solid strategic counsel and advice as well as exceptional tactical implementation. Other stakeholders include employees, prospective recruits, members of Kimberly-Clark\xe2\x80\x99s global communications team, journalists, editors and trade organisations and NGOs.   • Developing communications strategies, messaging and campaigns for internal and external communications channels/audiences, in close alignment with relevant key stakeholders (including the WE Managing Director & their Leadership Team to support Kimberly-Clark WE overall business objectives.
  • Develop the Kimberly-Clark WE story and create relevant and authentic content/messages that are easy for leaders/spokespeople to convey and for CEE employees to engage with.
  • Raising Kimberly-Clark\xe2\x80\x99s profile with internal and external audiences including employees, media, customers.
  • Collaborating with relevant partners to create joint communications in order to raise Kimberly-Clark\xe2\x80\x99s profile, such as case studies, articles, press releases, videos (e.g. brands, NGOs, customers).
  • Executing global and EMEA communications campaigns in WE. Adopting and tailoring global and EMEA messages for local audiences.
  • Being responsible for the approval process for communications in WE.
  • Coordinating communications efforts across multiple channels including social media, publications, corporate website and digital platforms \xe2\x80\x93 internally and externally. Designing, developing and managing content/channels to achieve communications strategies and objectives.
  • Support the central EMEA communications team on ad hoc projects and programs.
  • Managing media relations and escalated issues, building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to protect and enhance our reputation.
  • Liaising with Industry associations based in WE on behalf of Kimberly-Clark on relevant issues and campaigns.
  • Measuring and reporting on communications effectiveness.
To be successful this the role you will have:
  • Strong experience of working in communications, in-house/business or agency
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages a plus: French / Spanish / German / Italian
  • Native or bilingual English language capabilities, oral and written
  • Experience of operating in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment, handling multiple assignments from conception to completion to deadline locally and globally
  • The ability to generate high-quality content (written, design, video editing) for use locally and internationally both internally and externally.
  • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, as well as a professional presence and business diplomacy skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability and energy to operate across diverse cultures to often pressing deadlines.
