About the Role
------------------
We're looking for a creative and proactive, experienced Communications Lead to drive our communications and digital engagement. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll use your skills across social media, content creation, website management, and campaign delivery.
You'll be the charity's communications lead, ensuring our message is clear, consistent, and engaging across all platforms. From creating compelling content and managing social channels to supporting fundraising campaigns and sharing the stories of people with lived experience, you'll be at the heart of our mission.
About You
-------------
You're a creative communicator who loves bringing ideas to life across social media, websites, and campaigns. You can adapt your writing for different audiences, from an inspiring supporter story to a punchy social post. You enjoy experimenting with digital tools to create graphics and videos, and you're curious about what the data says so you can keep improving.
You like variety: one day you might be scheduling posts, the next planning a campaign or helping a colleague design event materials. You're organised, proactive, and driven by purpose - you want your work to make a tangible difference.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace the challenges you'll experience as part of a small team.
You'll be confident working with volunteers and embracing the opportunities that come from collaborating with people who bring a wide range of skills, experiences, and perspectives. You'll also be comfortable representing the charity externally, whether that's connecting with partners, engaging new audiences, or helping us build our profile.
Above all, you'll share our passion for improving the lives of people with MCAS and be excited to play a key role in telling our story, amplifying voices from our community, and driving forward our mission.
If you're collaborative, adaptable, and excited by the idea of shaping the voice of a small but growing charity, we'd love to hear from you.
