Love telling great stories? We're looking for a creative Communications Lead to help us share the amazing things happening in our care homes every day.
From heartwarming resident stories and community events to engaging social media ads, you'll help bring our brand to life across digital, social, and print.
You'll join a supportive, close-knit team based in Wimbledon, with a day a week to work from home - plus plenty of chances to visit our homes and see your work in action.
About Carebase
At Carebase and Enable Care, our mission is to provide exceptional care with love and kindness to our treasured residents who live in our 14 care homes. Our dedicated team members are at the very heart of this mission and in the marketing team we are passionate about sharing the stories that make our homes so special.
About You
We need a communications expert who is a genuine team player, friendly and reliable. You will thrive in a busy team, have an eye for detail and proven experience of creating a variety of engaging content (blogs, news stories, case studies and short videos) for online and offline channels. You'll also need to be great at planning and prioritising, able to work with minimal supervision and be accomplished at proofing and innovating.
When you're not working from our bright and airy Wimbledon office, sharing ideas and catching up with our team over a coffee (and usually a piece of cake!), you'll be happy to spend time with our residents and teams in our care homes, so ideally you need to have a full driver's license and have access to your own car.
When in our homes you'll spend time supporting our team members and gathering content which you'll share through a variety of marketing channels.
What You'll Bring
3+ years' experience in communications, marketing or social media roles.
Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
Experience with social media advertising (Facebook Business Manager preferred).
Confident using CMS platforms, Canva and basic analytics tools.
A team player with great organisational skills.
A kind, "can-do" attitude and a passion for helping people
Why Join Us?
In return, to compliment your salary you'll get a whole range of benefits and services which will support your ongoing wellbeing and happiness. This includes 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme, professional training, free independent and confidential information and advice for you and your family through an Employee Assistant Programme, office perks such as free treats, snacks and soft drinks and various team celebration events throughout the year and access to hundreds of high street discounts.
So, if you've got a flair for writing, experience running social campaigns, and a genuine interest in the care sector, we'd love to hear from you.
