About the Role:
As a
Communications Officer
, you will develop and deliver impactful communication plans that build awareness, trust, and engagement with Macmillan. Whether you honed your skills in a media agency, have a background in social media, corporate communications, or have previously worked in the corporate, public or charity sectors, this is your chance to apply your creativity and strategic thinking to a cause that makes a difference. Working across teams, you will create compelling stories, shape our voice across internal and external messaging, and drive engagement with a diverse range of audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement creative communication plans.
Produce engaging content for media, social media and internal communications channels.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and respond to media and reputational opportunities.
Ensure people affected by cancer are at the heart of our communications.
Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve communication strategies.
About You:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Channel-specific expertise in delivering audience-focused communications.
Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
A flexible, collaborative, and proactive approach.
