An exciting opportunity to join the communications team of one of the largest investment banks in the world. As a Communications Senior Specialist based in London you'll be part of a small team that provides communications support to Deutsche Numis, Deutsche Bank's Investment Bank, whose global co-heads are both based in London, as well as Deutsche Bank in the UK. It's a varied role involving interaction with senior bankers on a wide range of work including external media relations and internal communications. Every day will bring a different challenge. You could be drafting a speech for an executive one day, and handling a complicated media situation the next. The role requires outstanding writing skills, proven experience of the financial media, and the ability to get on with people in a fast paced working environment.

Your key responsibilities

Working on communications for Deutsche Bank's operations in the UK including its investment bank. Developing messages - partly independently and partly within a team - taking into account the bank's strategic topic architecture and creating communication plans in line with tactical and strategic considerations Preparing communication products e.g. media releases, speeches, video scripts, briefings, website contents, social media content, presentations, etc. Managing projects and, in some cases, leading communications projects, working with other members of the UK teams.

Your skills and experience

Experience in financial journalism and/or public relations/communications for companies in regulated industries A good understanding of how a bank and its key business areas work as well as a broad interest in capital markets Experience with project and topic-based communication campaigns, communication planning, issue management and multimedia projects Outstanding English writing skills You should be comfortable working under pressure and flexible and enjoy working with others.
