\xe2\x80\x8bA growing social enterprise, which supports innovation globally and is working side-by-side with the UK government on their latest project, is looking for a Communications & Engagement Lead on a 6-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension.

The role holder will develop and deliver a plan to generate interest and excitement about a digital data project with a range of external stakeholders. They will identify and build high quality relationships with intermediary organisations. The role sits within a team of 6, with regular communication with the wider organisation and two other organisations working on the same project.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, fun environment on a topical project with social mobility values at their core.

Key Responsibilities:

Build a community of stakeholders interested in a leading data related project and maintain high quality engagement with that community with relevant and engaging content delivered through appropriate communication channels (web, email, social)

Provide support in developing key messaging with external stakeholders and developing communication materials based on this messaging

Coordinate communications with people and organisations

Liaise with external delivery partners (e.g. our PR agency) and internal colleagues (e.g. website)

Support in the design and delivery of (online and offline) events for stakeholders and participants in the Prize

Key Skills and Experience:

Have outstanding oral and written communication skills and experience of developing content for, and communicating through, a range of channels

Have strong project management skills, with proven ability to develop and deliver a coherent overall plan and to deliver it from day-to-day

Bring energy, entrepreneurialism and creativity to the role, for example in identifying and developing relationships with intermediary organisations

Be comfortable managing a large number of stakeholder relationships with different kinds of stakeholder (e.g. digital/ tech businesses, membership organisations, universities, government), and be able to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders

Have experience working in or with digital and tech businesses
