We are looking for a talented Senior Community Advocacy Worker to join our team in Northern Ireland.What you will doYou will assist the Senior Community Advocacy worker to deliver advocacy support services for the xe2x80x9cRight Support Right Timexe2x80x9d programme in partnership with Inspire Wellbeing. You will provide one to one and group advocacy support to individuals with a learning disabilty, empowering them to resolve their issues, have their voices heard and their rights safeguardedWhat you will bringStrong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to break down complex information and present it in accessible wayAbility to develop and maintain effective working relationships within and outside an organisationAbility to produce written reports, and use excel to manage and summarise dataAbility to develop a positive rapport with others and work collaborativelyYour experience- Experience of collaborating with a variety of stakeholders through strong verbal and written communication- Experience of delivering one to one and group setting issue-based advocacy support- Experience of working with groups of people who may be vulnerableBenefitsIn addition to knowing that your work positively impacts people's lives, you will receive fair pay and enjoy a comprehensive range of rewards and benefits as one of our employees.
