that's been proudly supporting ethnically diverse communities in Wirral for over 25 years. We are now looking for a committed and compassionate individual to join our
Migrant Community Wellbeing Project (MCWP)
as a
Community Support & Advocacy Worker
.
This is a meaningful role that puts you at the frontline of community connection -- helping individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds access vital services, engage socially, and feel a real sense of belonging.
Your role will involve:
Offering personalised one-to-one advocacy and support
Helping Service Users navigate health, social care, and education systems
Reducing isolation by supporting community activities and events
Acting as a voice and bridge between individuals and mainstream services
Working collaboratively with professionals and local partners
You'll need to be:
Fluent in English, with native-level
Farsi
and/or
Kurdish Sorani
A great communicator who builds trust easily
Culturally aware, respectful, and sensitive to lived experiences
Organised, empathetic, and comfortable working with vulnerable individuals
Passionate about equality, diversity, and social care
