Do you have experience of working in catering and hospitality?
Do you want to be part of a vibrant community hub?
The Dudson Centre is a thriving community hub and Heritage Centre, which has The Dudson Museum at its heart. Located in Hanley, it is a unique setting that echoes the rich local heritage of the Potteries. The Centre is home to a range of voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations and provides excellent amenities and services, including catering, office space, conference & meeting room hire, and a friendly, inviting atmosphere to all tenants and visitors.
We currently have a vacancy for a proactive Community Cafe Assistant to join the team for 12 hours per week, working flexibly Monday to Friday with some requirement for weekend and evening shifts for events, and the opportunity for additional hours at busy times and for holiday cover.
Based in the busy cafe, the ideal candidate will be a flexible team player who is just as happy to help visitors in the onsite shop or provide reception services to visitors and tenants, as to be in the kitchen preparing meals.
