You will work 10-5 on a Sunday, must be over 18 and have previous cafe experience due to being a key holder / cashing up & other members of the team being younger than you.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen spaces. Support catering events by preparing and serving food as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist with barista duties, preparing coffee and other beverages as needed.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Experience in catering is an advantage but not essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Barista experience is beneficial for those interested in coffee preparation.
