Job Overview:

You will provide home care support for people who still reside in their homes but require additional support in different areas of their daily lives. This includes household tasks and any other activity that allows them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Your main duties will be, but not limited to:

Personal Care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. General housework Meal preparation and assisted feeding when required Administer and track medication Provide emotional support and companionship to clients and actively engage them in activities to promote mental and physical stimulation. Sit in service Working nights Prescription collection Hospital discharge support Escorting to appointments Assist clients with mobility issues, including transferring to and from beds, wheelchairs or mobility aids.

Able to communicate confidently and effectively Caring, compassionate and patient nature Ability to always stay punctual as you will be working to a strict timetable Able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment Self-motivated and able to work independently Strong verbal and written English skills Willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service Can manage behaviours that may challenge

Desirable Criteria:

Clean and valid UK driving licence will be desirable Ability to travel in and around Edinburgh Preferably Female candidates as per client requests
Full training is supplied

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: From 12.60 per hour
