Job Summary

As a Community Care Worker at Safe Choice Care Ltd, you will be a vital part of our mission to enhance the quality of life for individuals in the comfort of their own homes. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while providing essential care and support that empowers clients to live independently.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes, respecting their dignity and promoting independence. Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, personal hygiene, and mobility support. Observe, monitor, and accurately document any changes in clients' health and wellbeing. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Maintain a safe and healthy environment by following established health and safety guidelines. Provide physical assistance, including heavy lifting and mobility support, in accordance with clients' individual needs. Foster trusting and supportive relationships with clients to enhance their overall wellbeing.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential - we value a compassionate heart and a willingness to learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues. Ability to carry out physical tasks, including heavy lifting, as required to meet clients' needs. Basic understanding of meal preparation and nutritional care is beneficial.
