Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in their homes and care facilities. The role involves delivering personalised care services, promoting independence, and ensuring the wellbeing of clients across a variety of settings. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments Support patients with medication administration in accordance with prescribed schedules Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Manage behaviour and implement behaviour management strategies to ensure safety and comfort Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as required Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Respond promptly to emergency situations by administering first aid when necessary Document care provided accurately and report any changes in client condition to relevant healthcare professionals

Experience

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable Knowledge of patient care practices including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care Experience with medication administration and basic first aid skills Familiarity with behaviour management techniques for clients with cognitive impairments Valid driving licence and clean driving record preferred for roles involving transportation of clients Childcare experience or caring for vulnerable adults is advantageous but not essential Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks as required Proven ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism
