Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. This position requires a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Assist with mobility and ensure clients are comfortable during their care sessions. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care.

Experience

Previous experience in senior care, patient care, or a related field is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with first aid practices is advantageous. Experience in nursing homes, assisted living, or hospice care settings is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. A valid driving licence is required for transporting clients when necessary.
