ABOUT THE ROLE




Are you passionate about making a difference in communities? Do you have a talent for managing projects and building strong relationships? We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Projects Officer to join our Community Development team and help deliver strategic initiatives that support vibrant, inclusive neighbourhoods.




As a Projects Officer, you will play a key role in delivering strategic projects aligned with our Community Development service. You'll work across departments and with external partners to:


Deliver complex community-focused projects Support programme management and maintain key documentation Draft reports and presentations for senior leadership Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Monitor project quality and evaluate outcomes

ABOUT YOU


The successful candidate will have


A good standard of education including English and Maths (GCSE grade 4 or equivalent) Project management qualification or equivalent experience Strong community engagement and project delivery skills High-level IT proficiency (Microsoft Office and databases) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working in public sector or unionised environments is desirable Ability to travel to other locations and attend occasional evening/weekend meetings
