Do you have management experience working in or alongside community equipment services (CES)?
We're looking for an experienced manager to lead our outstanding CES service, ensuring effective delivery of prescribed community equipment, supporting Health and Social Care outcomes and assisting Solihull residents to live independently and safely at home.
Solihull's CES Service provides a range of equipment on loan to help with everyday living, such as mobility aids, beds and hoists, prescribed by professionals including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, community nurses and other health professionals.
As CES Manager you will:
Lead and deliver a high quality CES service for Solihull, providing an excellent service to residents and prescribers while meeting commissioning requirements around delivery, stock management and value for money
Ensure the wide range of CES staff (warehousing, logistics, deliveries, administration, clinical etc) have the necessary skills and support to enable them to provide high quality services
Lead, develop and implement service improvements, projects etc e.g. integration of new IT systems
Promote the CES service, raising the profile locally with a view to maximising efficacy
You will have:
A relevant management or professional qualification (or substantial experience within a relevant management role)
Significant management experience within a pressurised environment
Experience of working in/ with community equipment services
Experience of working with and engaging a wide range of partners e.g. health, social care, corporate support services
Experience of working with commissioners to deliver against agreed targets, requirements etc
