Job Overview:





We are seeking a passionate and well-connected UK Community & Events Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week, flexible). The ideal candidate is someone deeply embedded in the UK music scene who will play a key role in growing our community presence through events, relationship building, and content creation. This role reports to the Regional Community & Events Manager based in Singapore and operates primarily from our Denmark Street location in London.

Responsibilities:






Event Coordination & Management


Organize and execute events at our Denmark Street location and partner venues across the UK. Develop innovative event concepts and regular programming including product launches, artist showcases, workshops, and community gatherings. Coordinate logistics with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution. Manage event budgets and vendor relationships for UK-based activities. Evaluate event performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Community Building & Relationship Management


Identify and engage with local influencers, artists, and industry though leaders. Build and nurture relationships within the UK music community, including musicians, music enthusiasts, brands and industry professionals. Establish and maintain partnerships with UK-based record labels, venues, and music organizations. Network within the London and broader UK music scene to identify collaboration opportunities. Develop targeted community engagement initiatives and activations. Foster meaningful connections that drive brand loyalty and advocacy.

Artist Relations Support


Research, identify and handle outreach to UK-based creators to build meaningful relationships with. Assist the global artist relations team with UK-based operations. Coordinate artist visits to the Denmark Street shop for equipment collection and showcases. Manage artist relationships and logistics during UK visit. Support artist-related events and promotional activities.

Content Creation


Create engaging video and photo content from events and artists interactions. Document community activities and behind-the-scenes moments for socials. Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines. Potential for role expansion into broader content creation based on performance and interest.

Requirements:





Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event management, community building, or music industry roles. Strong existing connections within the UK music scene, particularly in London. Proven track record or organizing successful music-related events. Experience in content creation (video/photo) with a portfolio of previous work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently. Flexibility to work 2-3 days per week with occasional evenings/weekends for events. Based in or willing to commute regularly to London (Denmark Street area). Passion for music and understanding of current UK music trends and culture.

Preferred Qualifications:




Experience working with music creators and artist relations operations. Knowledge of music retail and instrument industry. Social media and digital marketing experience. Existing relationships with UK music venues, labels, or promoters.
