About the role

This is a new role within the Income Generation team at Ty Hafan which will be directly responsible for growing and developing the community fundraising programme at the charity. With the full support of the Head of Fundraising (Corporate, Community and Major Giving), the postholder will take the lead in developing and implementing a community fundraising strategy, with a focus on securing, developing and retaining profitable and mutually beneficial relationships with individuals, community groups and organisations, schools and SMEs. Along with leading and line managing the Regional Fundraisers, the role will be responsible for proactively acquiring new supporters and account managing existing supporters, as well as developing the tools and mechanisms required to deliver long-term, sustainable income growth from community fundraising. The postholder will work with colleagues across the organisation to maximise engagement across communities in Wales.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience of maximising community engagement to deliver significant income and contribution growth, or experience in a similar client or customer facing role, and proven experience of leading and motivating a team. We are looking for someone who can think strategically and turn strategic insights into actionable plans which deliver results. You will be proactive and solutions-focussed, and an excellent relationship builder who can network and build genuine rapport to develop engaging long-term relationships, including developing relationships with the families we support.

The ability to work flexibly to include evenings and weekends, or align working hours with supporter activity is essential.
