Location: Central Dewsbury with Hybrid working


Salary: 28,602 per annum


Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week. Fixed Term Contract to 31 March 2026.

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Community Housing Assistant to join our Team here at Connect. You'll play a vital role in ensuring customers receive an excellent customer experience, supporting both our residents and our operational teams.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Community Housing Assistant, you'll:


Review and triage customer contact, allocating it appropriately and keeping customers and colleagues informed. Use our case management and digital systems to allocate work efficiently. Collect and record accurate information from customers, requesting supporting documents where needed. Support Community Housing Officers by reassigning cases as required. Make outbound calls to gather further details, for example in relation to survey returns. Provide administrative support to operational teams, including letters, Notices, and tenancy sign-up packs.

About You

You'll be organised, approachable, and confident working with both people and systems. We're looking for someone who can:


Deliver a friendly and professional service to customers. Communicate clearly, both in writing and over the phone. Use digital systems confidently (training provided). Work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams.
