We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging Community Manager to be the heart of the CommonAI member network. You will be instrumental in cultivating strong relationships with our members, fostering a vibrant and collaborative community, and amplifying CommonAI's mission and impact. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
Member Relationship Management:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for our members, building rapport and understanding their needs and goals.
+ Proactively engage with members to encourage participation in community initiatives and facilitate connections between them.
+ Gather feedback from members to continuously improve our offerings and the overall community experience.
+ Onboard new members, ensuring they feel welcomed and have the resources they need to succeed within the CommonAI ecosystem.
Event Planning and Execution:
+ Conceptualise, plan, and execute a diverse range of online and in-person events, including workshops, networking sessions, hackathons, and meetups, that cater to the interests and needs of our members.
+ Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue booking, speaker coordination, marketing, and on-site support.
+ Evaluate the success of events and identify opportunities for improvement.
Communications Coordination:
+ Craft compelling and informative content for various communication channels, including email newsletters, community forums, and website updates.
+ Ensure consistent and timely communication of important announcements, resources, and opportunities.
Social Media Management:
+ Develop and execute a social media strategy to build brand awareness, engage with the wider AI and open source community, and promote CommonAI's activities and achievements.
+ Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms.
+ Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and foster positive online interactions.
+ Track and analyse social media performance to optimise engagement and reach.
